Seller’s agents are employed by homeowners to find a buyer for their property.  The employment contract called a “listing agreement” will spell out the duties your agent will perform for you.  These typically include helping you price your property, advertising and marketing your property, negotiating the best possible price and terms for you, reviewing offers with you and helping you navigate through the closing process.  The seller’s agent cannot reveal confidential information about the property owner without permission.
